Ottawa restaurants get ready for WinterBites 2013

What happens when restaurants team up to create prix-fixe menus that won't suck a wallet dry? Ottawa Magazine's WinterBites 2013 is what happens, and from January 10 through 26, foodies staying at Ottawa hotels will have the chance to sample as many restaurants as they want without having to dig deep into their bank account.
Le Cordon Bleu Bistro at Signatures is just one of the 28 restaurants participating in next year's culinary event, and though chefs are still working on finalizing the menu, patrons will no doubt be treated to a spectacular meal in a luxurious setting. Serving elegant and contemporary French cuisine, the chefs rarely serve the same meal twice, so no matter how many times visitors come back, they can expect to eat something completely different.
For visitors who won’t still be in town during the WinterBites festivities, they can still enjoy a holiday-themed meal this month, complete with seared duck breast, veal chop and, of course, a pumpkin cremeux that acts as the perfect complement to the beautiful winter weather.
Reservations for WinterBites will be open soon, so future visitors should keep their eyes peeled for these delicious deals.
