The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) will host an exciting fundraiser that may be perfect for travellers who hope to take home a few one-of-a-kind souvenirs. The J'Adart! event will feature auctions, entertainment and delicious culinary delights to help raise money for this important institution.
The OSA provides inspirational workshops and classes to the community, allowing aspiring artists of all ages to have an outlet for their creativity. Several courses offered will allow students to work toward art diplomas or portfolio certificates to assist in future art careers.
Hosting the show will be artists Alan Neal and Julie Nesrallah, who will help guide the live auction and introduce the artwork. Local musician Marie Josee-Houle will play some of her fun and lively jazz tunes and display several pieces of her own art as well, including photography, watercolour paintings and other decorative pieces.
Information about times and ticket availability for the event can be found on the OSA's website. It will take place on May 3 and be held at the National Arts Centre. Guests taking tours of Ottawa this spring will not want to miss this fundraiser while enjoying all the sights and sounds of Canada's capital city.
